If a domestic customer can afford the Solar Energy Prices and then goes ahead and has a Solar Energy Panels system put in, there may be a chance that the domestic customer will see this as a positive step towards helping the greenhouse effect. For this to occur, the domestic customer may have something of a environmentally friendly epiphany, to show them the openings that a Solar Energy Panels set up can bring. Once the domestic customer realises the savings they can make from their Solar Energy Panels set up, this may spur them on to trying to reduce the family?s power demand to reduce their dependency on their utility business further.

The savings that the domestic customer can make really depend on how efficient they are at using power compared to how the Solar Roof Panels set up supplies it. This may well be important if the family has a member at home during the day, which is when the Solar Energy Panels set up will be making power mainly. During the day is the best time to use equipment with a heavy power demand, like washing machines, so that the domestic customer may well not need to draw extra power from the utility business, using the Solar Energy Panels set up fully and getting good value for the Solar Energy Prices paid.

It goes without saying that the domestic customer would not simply pay the Solar Energy Prices and look for nothing in return from their Solar Energy Panels set up. The Solar Energy Prices for a standard family home are around ?12,000, for which the homeowner receives a Solar Energy Panels set up capable of making around 2.7 kW. This output Solar Energy Panels set up is assessed to be around 50% of the standard family?s power demand, so this may well be the main saving for the domestic customer. In addition the government launched the feed in tariff scheme which pays customers with renewable energy systems, for each kWh their Solar Energy Panels set up, or wind turbine, supplies. Also, if their Solar Energy Panels set up supplies left over power and this is then distributed to the grid, they are paid for this. The total savings and payments may be around ?1,170 per year, giving a repayment window of 10 to 11 years for the Solar Energy Prices.

On the the greenhouse effect side this output of Solar Energy Panels set up is assessed to save the generation of 1.2 tonnes of CO2 per year.
