About Satellite TV Services

August 19th, 2011 . by admin

Satellite TV service is a broadcasting service by which the subscribers are able to receive television signals through a receiver unit shaped like a dish. The signals are first transferred to a communication satellite. The communication satellite is positioned in an orbit fixed above the earth. In order to stop the illegal downloading of these signals, they are electronically encoded. A receiving dish (for receiving signals) and a descrambler (for the encoding) are provided to the subscriber. The information for tuning is passed into the television with the help of a cable. With satellite TV, the inconveniences attached to the former television broadcasting methods are solved. Such is the specialty of satellite services.
